Piedmontese wines by tradition

Being a winemaker is not just a profession. You have to have patience, love for the land, wisdom in making wines and interpersonal skills with colleagues and customers. We do not work alone but are part of a system.

Wines

All stages of production are personally supervised by the family, whose experience integrates innovation with tradition, which has represented our company for decades.

Vineyards

The Bertolino family owns about 100 hectares of organically farmed land, about a third of which is planted with vines. The vineyards are planted with varieties chosen according to the characteristics of the soils.

Historic House in the Heart of Monferrato

The Bauda, residence of the Bertolino family since 1961, has a history rooted far back in time, as far as 1220. In the heart of Piedmont, a mansion with an interesting history that has seen several transformations over time: from the summer residence of tenor Giovanni Battista De Negri to a refuge and infirmary for wounded soldiers during World War II to a wine cellar.

Barbera d’Asti, Nizza Docg, Cortese, Grignolino and Moscato d’Asti are the main wines that fascinate us and that we enjoy producing.
